The Diaspora Isn’t One Story
The Sikh diaspora is layered. Some of us are fourth-generation immigrants. Some arrived last year. Some are reconnecting to Sikhi for the first time as adults. Some have never stepped foot in Punjab.
And yet — we meet in the same virtual spaces, chant the same Jaap Sahib, and tear up at the same line from “Deh Shiva.”
Let’s Talk:
What does “home” mean to you as a Sikh abroad?
What do you wish the Panth knew about your local Sangat?
How do you stay grounded in Sikhi when you're far from community?
Drop your city and your story in the comments. Let's show how vast — and beautifully connected — we really are.
